Bio
April Brucker may only be 5'3" and 110 lbs, but she
is mighty.
The eighteen year old is an accomplished
ventriloquist/actress/writer. April is
a self-taught ventriloquist. Groucho Marx was her vent
figure. Since then April's collection has grown to include
May, her twin vent figure, and Sweetie Pie,
a clown puppet that is featured on her children's
television show,
Storytime With April & Friends
As an author she had 97 articles published nationwide.
She is also
a classically trained actress, having studied at Carnegie
Mellon University,
Point Park College, and the Pittsburgh Public
Theatre.
TV appearances include West Wing as well other independent
films.
April has taken on the entire world with her television
show,
Storytime With April & Friends. April and Sweetie
Pie are aired
globally in 9 time zones. (21 states, 5 countries, and the
World Wide Web.)
April is currently dubbing her show in Chinese, Thai, and
Spanish.
Most recently, the show will be featured in Ireland's
first effort for

April also perform in her native Pittsburgh at nursing
homes, preschools,
and other charity functions. Most notably, she made an
appearance at
the Mensa Regional Convention, Carnival day at Meadowcrest,
and
the Delta Delta Delta International Sorority.
April has been featured as a Celebrity Guest Reader in
elementary schools during National Read Week. She has
appeared on television hosting specials with the
characters of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood and their puppets.
She has also won the Citizen of the Year Award Nomination,
the District Attorney's Commendation, and the Unsung Hero
Award for her work
with ventriloquism and family media.
