At 32, Paul has 16 years experience as a performer which was evident when he stole the show in his third Royal Variety Performance at the Hammersmith Apollo at Christmas 2002 in the presence of HRH the Prince of Wales.
Since his first Royal performance in 1997 Paul has appeared regularly on shows such as ITV`s Tonight at the London Palladium with Bruce Forsyth, The Big Stage, The Freddie Starr Show, LWT`s top rated Christmas shows Shirley Bassey`s 60th Birthday Special, Richard Digance Christmas Special, BBC1`s Generation Game, ITV¹s A Royal Gala, Carlton TV¹s Stand Up at Jongleurs, BBC TV`s The Stand Up Show, Late Night With Jerry Springer¹ Open House with Gloria Hunniford and Today with Des and Mel.
He was the first outright winner - by over 100,000 votes -of the Big Big Talent Show hosted by Jonathan Ross on LWT. He made his TV debut as a magician on BBC`s Tricky Business. However, within 6 months he appeared as a ventriloquist on Hanger 17 and shortly after that landed a two year contract presenting the Disney produced kids` programme Rise and Shine for GMTV.
Live shows include The Paul Zerdin Show to sell-out audiences in Blackpool during the summers of 97 & 98 and ³Paul Zerdin No Kids² at The Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Paul will be taking his new show to The Horseshoe, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, every Monday night from July through to November 2004.
Last year Paul celebrated his 11th year in Pantomime appearing as Wishee Washee in the lavish Qdos production of Aladdin at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
He has worked on many TV commercials including Kelloggs, Persil and Honda and was a puppeteer in the Jim Henson film Muppet Treasure Island, he was also the ventriloquial adviser to Anthony Sher in the BBC Film Genghis Cohn.
Being such a versatile performer he is also in great demand all over the world with frequent performances on P&O - Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Holland America and the QE2.
Paul can be seen headlining regularly at the world famous Comedy Store, and Jongleurs Comedy Clubs and with his unique style of comedy and its mass appeal he¹s become much sought - after in the corporate and after dinner market.
Paul has also recently returned from his second trip entertaining the British troops in Iraq.
After touring Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Bangkok and Tokyo last year Paul has been busy working on his own TV show which is in development with a major independent production house.
Paul is currently being seen on Paramount Comedy¹s The World Stands Up¹ in the UK.
