Valentine Vox began talking to himself at the age
of ten and became a professional ventriloquist in his late teens. Edgar Bergen once
referred to Valentine as "a dishonest ventriloquist" because, he said, "he
doesn't move his lips," For over 30 year his act has been seen by audiences around
the world in cabaret, clubs, and on television. A veteran of the small screen he has
appeared on major networks throughout the world and had his own national show in Britain.
Valentine authored the definitive work on the history of ventriloquism I Can See Your
Lips Moving which traces the practice of ventriloquism over some three thousands
years. His highly acclaimed lecture-show Ventriloquism from Sorcery to the Stage is based
on his book. Valentine also designed the Magic & Movie Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
